Installation specifications
Welding parameters: It is recommended to use a peak welding temperature of 255-265 ℃ (welding time of 3-5 seconds), and a manual welding temperature of ≤ 320 ℃ to avoid high temperature damage to the LCP insulator.
PCB design: The solder pad aperture should be matched with 0.8mm harpoon pins, with a spacing tolerance of ± 0.05mm; it is recommended to connect the grounding pin to a ≥ 10mm ² copper-clad area to enhance EMI suppression.
Positioning accuracy: Use fixtures to ensure that the female seat is installed vertically, with a tilt angle of ≤ 1.5 °, to avoid stress caused by the insertion of the male and female seats, resulting in poor contact.
Usage environment
Temperature and humidity range: working temperature -40 ℃ to 85 ℃, storage temperature -50 ℃ to 90 ℃, humidity ≤ 85% RH (no condensation), avoid strong corrosive liquids and high dust environments.
Current limit: The recommended continuous operating current is ≤ 4.5A, and the instantaneous peak value is ≤ 6A. Paired with eMarker chip cables, it can achieve 100W power transmission. Ordinary cables may cause overheating.
Maintenance and Storage
Regular cleaning: wipe the interface with anhydrous alcohol every quarter to remove dust and oxides, and prohibit the use of metal tools to touch the surface coating of the terminal.
Long term storage: When not in use, it should be sealed in a dry environment (humidity ≤ 60%), and it is recommended to use a dust cap to prevent foreign objects from entering. The storage period should be ≤ 2 years.
Compatibility notes
Interface matching: It needs to be used in conjunction with TYPE C male connectors that comply with the USB-IF standard. Non standard interfaces may cause protocol handshake failure or poor contact.
Cable selection: When transmitting high currents, certified cables with eMarker chips are required to ensure current carrying capacity and protocol compatibility.
